Ampudia – Spain

Posted on October 3, 2014

Before we drove over the border to Portugal we decided to stay at a free Aire which is located on the outskirts of Ampudia, a very pretty village that has a medieval castle.

It was a very tranquil type of place. It has a few coffee shops and a small museum.

Jäger and I went running to explore the place, while Shaun befriended some of the locals who then preceded to show him how and where to pick some wild mushrooms in a field close to the Aire.

The Aire has a service point where you can fill up with water and empty any grey water.

We both agreed it was worth a visit if you’re in the area.

A real street full of little houses.
