Shaun and Tom’s Powder Days – France.

What a good few days we've had. The conditions have been fantastic, plenty of powder, sunshine, empty slopes and lots of fun. Tom has been setting Strava (a phone App) each day to see how far and how fast we've been going; over the three days we managed to cover 146 miles, gain 91000ft (thats almost 28km) of elevation overall and hit a max speed of 50.6mph. Bourg St Maurice – France

We are now in the town of Bourg St Maurice, the centre for the Paradiski ski area of Les Arcs and La Plagne. We booked into a camp site for a few days as we thought it would be easier to ;one, sort our admin out (washing and cleaning) and two; have electric, showers and fresh water. We decided to make a detour on our way to Bourg St Maurice (Les Arcs) to go and see one of Shaun's old friends, from his Army days. John, who now manages a few ski chalets with his wife his good lady Tracey, in Megeve.
